I recently flew to Finland and Latvia, but I would need to brave before I left that I was looking for an all weather backpack which would defy the subzero temperatures. I usually go with a backpack for the laptop and camera gear. In addition, it’s just simpler to maneuver airports around using a little carry-on and a backpack. For over a decade I have been a fan of this Victorinox Swiss Army brand. They are the original creators of this Swiss Army Knife and now they also make durable and hip travel equipment and bags.
I picked for the trip for the Rath Slim Backpack and it did not disappoint! I am able to say it’s the perfect all weather backpack for somebody who traveled as frequently as I do. Together with 7 pockets, there’s room to fit a 17″ notebook, camera lens and body, passport wallet, and a few other personal products. I was saved by Even the zippers in Helsinki that was rainy, as well as in the Finnish countryside. It’s ideal rainy and snowy weather.

I loaded it up with equipment but never felt an annoying backache that’s a plus and that I’ve gotten with backpacks, which means the weight gets distributed! I got a lot of compliments on the back pack from photographers who are searching for a more trendy option to the camera bags you see out there. I highly recommend the Roth Slim as an all-weather backpack.
I partnered with this particular excursion with Victorinox. All comments are my own.
